so, i lost my keys in apgujeong last night. the worst part was, it wasn’t even a drunken mistake. i simply got rushed out of the first bar we were in, and as my purse was laying in a pile of other bags/coats, the keys just slid out onto the floor in the mess. i didn’t realize it until 3am, while riding the elevator up to my place. the elevator opened at my floor, i stepped out, and in dramatic fashion, fell to the ground in sobs. after about 30 seconds of that, i figured i should probably call the friend i had been with and ask to stay at his place. after being taken care of like a little lost puppy (my friend is amazing), i woke up to a text from the bar, replying to me and telling me that they had found my keys. i then had another (korean) friend call a locksmith to open my door for me. once i woke up from my entire day nap, i realized that i wouldn’t be able to lock my door when i left to go pick up my keys. seeing as i live nearly an hour from apgujeong, and i was meeting someone for dinner as well, i was terrified that my apartment would be broken into. that’s where friend (who took me in last night) came to the rescue again. he spent the evening watching movies in my apartment so it wouldn’t get broken into. what a gent. i am incredibly lucky to have such great friends. i’m not sure what i will do without that boy when he’s gone for the next few months.
also, the date guy from previous posts has become more of a stable character in the brittany drama. tomorrow will be spent laying around on his heated floor mat (probably falling asleep) while he cooks me something delicious. then, we’ll see if i can convince him to play his guitar for a while. i feel like i’m in college again…
